Every member of the team is chosen for their abilities to facilitate the Elderwell sessions in an inclusive, interactive and most importantly enjoyable manner. We have found that because of our unique role within the care setting. The relationship developed between our clients and us, allows a safe environment to express themselves and interact with others. The fact that we still facilitate weekly sessions in the homes that we first visited in 2002 along with excellent attendance to the sessions is testimony to our abilities to adapt and individualise programmes to suite client needs.

In accordance with HSE care plan guidelines we have developed a documentation method for each session, which will allow us to further develop the Elderwell program to benefit individual patient needs.
